For this role in particular, we are looking for someone who has :

  • Min. 3-4 years of experience with a variety of HR practices, including recruitment and selection, performance & talent management, preferably in the tech or services industry.
  • Min. Bachelor diploma in a relevant field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Belgian labour law and payroll.
  • Experience in using social media or other digital technologies for recruitment.
  • Ambitious and goal-driven, with an impressive track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent work ethic and the ability to inspire others.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, French, and Dutch.
  • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous and well-organised approach.
  • The ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • A genuine sense of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

WHAT YOU DO :

Recruiting. This role will own the entire recruitment process, from beginning to end. This role is responsible for nurturing relationships both with managers and prospective talent, providing an excellent experience to both.

Payroll. As a Payroll Administrator, you continuously share your payroll knowledge towards your internal clients and stakeholders and you will handle the day to day personnel administration via different communication channels.

  • Take ownership of all the recruitment processes (publish vacancies, screen resumes, organise interviews).
  • Publish vacancies on our various channels (e.g. job boards, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies), ensuring the quality of the content and relevance of the information provided at all times.
  • Search for our ideal candidates and maintain our alumni network.
  • Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers.
  • Help organise job days and other events.

A question about the activities?

  • Manage personnel data appropriately and take into account the provisions of social and labour law to ensure that salaries, holiday pay and end-of-year bonuses are calculated and paid correctly and on time.
  • Ensure that the necessary personnel documents are forwarded to the relevant employees and/or authorities in good time.
  • Be the contact person for staff regarding payroll and social legislation.
  • Ensure that administrative procedures are followed so that the department has the necessary information in good time.
  • Prepare the contracts (Work permits) and ensure that the personal data of employees is correctly entered into the HR tools.
