What You Do
The technical consultant is above all a consultant. Your average workday starts with a daily standup, helping to solve your colleagues’ issues as the team player that you are. You then move on with a client workshop where you gather business requirements, using your natural empathy to thoroughly understand and challenge the client needs. After that, you translate the output into a solution design, connecting the dots between the client’s needs and technology. You structure your thoughts based on a strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform to present a clear solution and implementation plan to the client, anticipating the bigger picture of the project. Before you know it, you are hands-on developing the solution with your colleagues according to best practices, helping each other out. Your workday often ends with playing pool or having some drinks with your colleagues in our office bar.
Oh, before we forget, you are comfortable following the agile methodology, so you are proactive and able to quickly adjust to a changing situation. As a representative of Ink at the client, you are also a born communicator and are not afraid to ask for help if needed.

- Developing, testing and deploying on Salesforce platform following implementation best practices.

- Punctually participating in presales activities with the support of the team, including client’s meetings and preparing proposals.

What We Are Looking For

- Outstanding analytical & problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills & ability to adapt to your audience in English and either Dutch or French.
- Proactive & adaptive character.
- Strong expertise in at least one object oriented programming language between Java, C++ and C#.
- RDBMS and SQL knowledge.
- Main design patterns knowledge.
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Open to Junior (1-2 years), Medior (2-5 years) and Senior (5+ years) profiles. At least one year of project experience on Salesforce platform is required.
- Typically, a Master's degree in Computer Science or Civil Engineering. However, we believe that, although important, your academic achievements do not define you and we would love to hear how your individual path drives you to this consultant position.
On top for Medior and Senior profiles:
- Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certified. Salesforce Platform Developer 2 is a plus.
- Proficiency with APEX, Lightning Components development, Visualforce, and advanced SOQL.
- Experience in Salesforce integration using SOAP and REST web services.
- Strong expertise in release management strategies relying on GIT.
- Experience in data modeling using activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams etc.
- Experience in assessing the best option between custom development and Salesforce out of the box alternatives.
